The UK Government continues to fail victims of the contaminated blood scandal.
I often make representations in debates on this issue and most recently during a back bench business debate I asked that the UK Government confirm that the well overdue funding for victims of the contaminated blood scandal is not taken from NHS budgets.
“On mitigating the loss, I am here to represent several constituents, but one in particular—Andy Gunn. He is extremely concerned by the Health Secretary’s suggestion that the funding might come from the NHS budget. Does the hon. Gentleman agree that that would be highly inappropriate?”
